I found the youtube video awesome. It surprised me with all the facts and at times it was a little much. I found myself pausing the video to reread each fact. I was shocked at some things that I had read. For example the fact about Myspace. It had said that if Myspace was a country it would be the 8th largest in world! That made me wide - eyed.
I also found myself disturbed by some of the facts. I was very uneasy about the various facts that had targeted the U.S.A. For instance the video contained a fact that said China would be the best English speaking country in, I believe, 4 years. I found it disturbing that India and China have more college graduates than the USA. Most people believe, myself included, that the U.S.A was the best country in the world. I knew we were behind in technology and energy efficiency ideas, but in education! This shocked me, but it was convincing. I do agree with it, although I would love to just turn my head and pretend I never heard this.
This video makes me want to go out and do something for the world. It makes me want to help out. It is very motivating. I liked how it had sources at the end to prove the factual comments it had discussed. I also like how this video is made or presented. It had nice music in the background that wasn't distracting and went with the theme of the video. It was also not very colorful which worked for the theme because it stood out for the right reasons and not because the words were lime green with a hot pink background, that just wouldn't of fit. Some words were a subtle red which made them stand out more. These words were mostly the dates while the changed to make an impact, to have you watch and have it soak into your brain.
I really enjoyed the video and I will recommend it to others.

I agree with you in what you say about the video. I was also shocked about all the facts that they showed and how many people did these things. You said you feel like you should go out and do something. Well what can you do and what do you want to do?
I agree with you 100%. I thought the video was very shocking and opened my eyes to a lot of things, including the fact about how India will be the largest speaking English speaking country in the world in the next few years. Plus the fact it said Great Britain had the strongest military and had all those other things. These and many of the facts confused me. I was like you, I couldn't believe my eyes. I feel like I should go out and do something to change the world, but I don't know what to do. The question I have for you is since we both want to change the world what can we do to change these facts about the world and if we can change the world what should we change about it exactly?
